Wedding Planning Stress
Do you have wedding planning stress? Hopefully you've taken the right precautions to make sure that doesn't happen. Still, there are things that can go wrong and stress you out. Nerves can get the better of you too -- this is a big step!
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to just get away from it all for a few days and relax. This is easier said than done when you want to make sure everything goes smoothly, but it's also very necessary! A stressed out bride makes rash decisions that might not be best for the wedding -- or her finances.
What did you like to do before you started planning a wedding? If you're like many brides, the chances are good that you've let those things fall by the wayside. You might want to go shopping for a special treat. You can also grab a great book and do some light reading that is not wedding related. Better yet, call up an old friend that you haven't had the time to hang out with lately. They will really enjoy hearing from you. You and your friend can escape in the movie theater watching a great chick flick, or even an exciting action movie.
It doesn't matter what you do, as long as you let your mind rest for a little while. You might feel even more stressed out at first because you feel like you're not getting anything accomplished, but it really is the best thing for you in the long run. You certainly don't need extra problems caused by wedding planning stress.
Some time away can give you the fresh perspective you need to efficiently plan the wedding of your dreams. It can also help you to take a step back and remember why you're planning the wedding in the first place. It's very easy to get so caught up in flowers and dresses that the fact that you're going to be married to the person you love most in the world goes by the wayside.
Taking some time to be yourself and get excited about marriage (not just the wedding) can be all the de-stressing you need.
